We create ornaments, sculptures, and jewelry from used or damaged books that would otherwise end up in landfills.

In 2018, the EPA estimated that around 10 millions tons of books and other non-durable paper materials such as newspapers, mechanical papers, magazines, paper plates and cups, office papers, and other commercial printing ended up in landfills.[1]. This was after successfully managing to recycle nearly half of the 26 million tons of those goods produced in the year 2018. While there are many processes being used in an attempt to reduce this waste, such as recycling, composting, and combusting for energy, so many tons of these materials still end up in landfills every year.

Here at Artistic Pages, we strive to prevent books from being sent to landfills by giving them a second life as sculptures, decorative ornaments, or treasured jewelry. We hope to eventually expand into environmentally safe packaging and recycled paper production.

Join us on our journey to stop books being sent to landfills.
